Gite La Buanderie: Sleeps 6
Our largest holiday cottage, La Buanderie used to be the wash house. It’s now a lovely self-catering accommodation for up to 6 guests plus 2 babies or small children.
It has a large living room with lots of farmhouse charm including a wood burner (we supply an initial supply of logs for stays between November and March). In addition to comfortable furniture it has a flat screen television offering both French TV and English Freesat channels. Free WiFi also available.
The kitchen in La Buanderie is fully equipped with a dishwasher, large fridge freezer, washing machine, gas oven, 5 burner hob, electric kettle and coffee maker, toaster, a microwave oven, iron and ironing board. The dining table seats up to 8 people comfortably and French doors lead from the kitchen to the barbecue terrace. The kitchen is well equipped with all the basic crockery, cutlery etc. you need for your catering needs.
Upstairs, the master bedroom has a traditional French double bed and there is an en-suite shower room. Hairdryers are also supplied.
We have a further double room and a twin room which are decorated in neutral colours and they share the family bathroom, which includes a full size bath with shower over.
We can accommodate a cot which we’ll be happy to provide for you. All the bedrooms have exposed stone walls and are beautifully cool in summer – although we provide fans during the summer months.
Outside, the enclosed garden has a teak picnic bench and a large umbrella for shade. French doors from the kitchen lead to a small terrace with stone barbecue and a bistro table and chairs – perfect for an early morning coffee or an evening aperitif.
