Saint Macoux is a charming small village located in the valley of The Charente. An easy access to the water level set within pleasant woodland where you can practise fishing for carp and other local varieties. Along with a snack bar that is open from June to September.
Horse Riding at Lizant – 3km approx 5 mins
For an hour, a day or a week, the equestrian farm Les Boutiers is a recreation and horse riding tourism site which will make you discover on horse or pony the valley of the Charente with its numerous walkways.

Karting at St Sauvant – 45km approx 30 mins
25 hectares and two accredited circuits! - Go-Karting, cross-car, quads - and a special learning track incorporating several leisure circuits. You can also hire buggies - Cross-cars PRM D1 – and try them out on their beaten track that measures 1000 m x 16m wide. Open each afternoon except Sundays, Mondays and bank holidays.
